6 disc changer

My 04 has a 6 disc changer.
Problem is, it's not working anymore. Worked fine for a couple weeks, but now the lights just flash.
1-2-3 flash at the same time, then 4-5-6 flash. It's the same cycle over and over again. Sometimes they all flash at the same time, though. But it's more often the back and forth flashing.

I still have CDs in there! >.<

What can I do? What is the flashing telling me? Am I boned? :P
Shall I rip the sucker apart and forcefully extract my CDs? Or is there a solution?

It's telling you it shit the bed. Happened to a six disc and a four disc I had. They never worked again.

nope, it is good news. now you can finally change out the p.o.s. stock headunit for something better!
