ok so i got into a accident a few months ago and fucked the whole front of my car been slowly fixing it at the same time as boosting it. but any way i my old boss cut the complete end off of one of the conectors that go into the ecu. i will throw up a picture in a little bit as i need to figure some stuff out any way.

well my question is i need to figure out wich is wich
there are 2 red wires that come out of the clip but im not sure wich is wich. if i have to i will go with a 00-02 bay harness and just splice in the end clip for my ecu if i have to. but if not i would rather not. any way if any one knows what i am talking about please chime in i need help fast.

oh ps its keeping the car from starting. will have a pic up here in a few minutes.

dont mind the cut wires as my car doesnt have them the clip cam from a stratus so i only wired what my car has. got to figure out what the reds are as there are two of them and no idea wich are wich.



ok and heres also how far ive gotten with what money i have had.

I would assume one red/white would be an ignition wire? Will the car turn over and just not start, or not do anything?

Perhaps the connector position/number may help. Dante, or I could post up the pin out for the connector. There may be pin outs already in the swap section somewhere. I can't get that until late tonite tho.

so before my old boss cut the hell out of it( long story will tell in a minute) it did start but because the clip was busted to hell to would vibrate loose and shut the car off so thats why i needed to replace it. so i got the new clip had all the same wires and them some( cut the ones that werent needed out) and was getting reday to start switch the wries to the new plug. well then my boss came over to see what i was doing and said here this is how you do it. took out some big ass wire cutters and just cut the whole thing he didnt bother to see thaat there was 4 wires that were the same two grays with a black strip and two reds with a white strip. got the grays figured out cuz one was shorter then the other. but her cut the reds the same length and all. so yeah i got

That is the sticky for the PCM pin-outs. From the looks of it, the connector in question is the first one I have listed.

ok and how do i know wich ones are wich on the harness side is there any marking on the wires i should look for?

The wires are two different sizes (guages) yes? If so, the big one goes to the other big one, and the smaller one...well, you get the idea
