Alright heres the deal, I was driving home today from the body shop and everything was working fine. I got home and shut off the car and went inside to start a new project and took my radio to test fit things. I go to plug everything in a couple of minutes again and nothing from the radio. Ok checked fuses and thats what it was. Turned the radio on and no sound until I turn it all the way up, then I get some sound but very little. Now in my car nothing is hooked up to the factory harness at all in my car. All speakers and subs are runned off my amp and radio. My question is it my radio or amp thats not producing the sound or is it both. Usually when this happens it the radio. Any info will help right now. Thanks

If you have checked your stereos and the problem is still there, than I would say it is the amp that has a problem.

What caused the fuse to blow? If there are (audio) wires shorted, it would kill the power to the speakers.

you can bypass the radio with an ipod using a 3.5mm to rca cable directly into the amp and see if it produces anything as well.

:withstupid:

If the amp works off the ipod portable cd player than you know its the radio or something got crossed with your wiring...

If you need a hand pick a weekend and come by...Ill take a peek. I have a ton of radios amps etc etc. LOL

Sorry for getting back late, I found the problem last night. I started to pull all the wires and check them to see for a short anywere. The problem was my RCA cable from the stero to the amp. Hooked up a new one and all systems are a go.
