Hey guys

I'm feeling like the radio reception is pretty poor on my 03 neon.
It does have an aftermarket Sony headunit (previous owner had put it in) so first I want to check the antenna connection.

But on another topic, has anyone fiddled with replacing the stock antenna?
I don't mean just screwing in a short rubber one that makes the signal worse. I mean full mods like a motorized one, or using aftermarket windows ones.

I can tell you from experience that the window mount doesn't get that great a reception. I don't know about the motorized. I went and put a roof mount antenna on my neon.

Do you remember what kind of window antenna it was?

im thinking shark fin, but i would like to see how the reception is before i put a whole in my roof!
