Alarm not chirping anymore

Post by Silver-Shadow » Sat Oct 19, 2013 10:28 pm

I was pushing buttons about a month ago and my alarm stopped chirping when I hit the button on my FOB. How do I get the sound back when I hit the alarm button?

If you have the owners manual for the car it tells you how to change it in there

I had that problem a few days ago, I have been having problems with my lights which is being caused by a bad MFS and the 20 prong connector in which both need to be replaced. I had gone to the store and hit lock on the fob, doors locked, lights flashed but no chirp. I hit the panic button and the alarm sounded, turned it off and hit the lock button again and it has chirped ever since. shortly after that I lost turn signals and hazards along with my brake lights, due to the connector shorting out. so really I don't know if the short caused it to stop working or what but I have not had a problem with it since then
