Nope, Autobody supply stores only on the SEM paint along with the BullDog. Everything else you can purchase at Advance or Auto Zone. The fabric doesn't feel hard if you brush it as per the how-to.

so i went to the junk yard and got a headliner that can do oh-shit handles with out a sun roof. so i have two questions when i was pulling out the three buttons off the back they kept breaking is there a good way to remove them. and i didnt see the answer for how to paint the handles and the plastic on the visors and other plastic pieces on the headliner.

I used the same paint, the vinyl paint, on the handles it's the only one that I've come across that lays on well and lasts. They make puller tools for those plastic clips but you could just buy a set of black ones at the auto parts store since you won't want the tan ones once you swap the color over.

Ok so you just bought the ones that hold in the carpet in the trunk that look like pine trees. (if that makes sense) and the final paint is the same listed in the beginning of the article correct. Once again thanks LSP for all of the help. I'll be posting progress pics of mine as soon as I do it over this coming winter. Also did you use a paint gun and you cars body paint for the paint matched seat belt parts?

i just planned on buying a flat black and putting that in because the carbon black of the dash looks black enough to me and i have a black gauge pod and it matches fairly well with out being the stock black color.

i see lsp painted them the same as her car body color, with mine being orange blast i dont want to find dealer paint that will ware off eventually so my question is should i paint them dark grey to match the fake carbon fiber shifter and hvac bezel i have or that orange i found.

The dealer paint won't flake off if you prep it right.

Ok would buying the touch up pins be the way to go or do they have a spray can like spray paint. I don't have access to a air compressor or a spray gun.

That's my reasoning to buy a different then stock color for paint on the inside.

Hey Crystal I didn't see if you addressed the hair brush questions. What style of hair brush exactly? I'm going to be doing this to the 1gn soon.

Damn I fail at responding, a soft bristled brush works best, nothing abrasive. One of those "horse hair" kinda brushes. The ones that look like this:

Oh yeah it's about time. Pictures are nice. Don't use a hair brush with balls on the end cause she never responded to my PMs or anything. haha I just picked a brush and it turned out like crap. And actually I saw there was a new post in here and I was gonna ask about the brush again because it probably never got answered, but here it is. haha!

ok so i have most of my interior done but have a few more pieces to paint black. i hope this isnt a dumb question as i only just skimmed through the replies. but what paint did u use on the o shit handles and sunroof molding. i sprayed my handles with some trim paint and it has been a few months and the paint still seems to be tacky. is there a paint that will fully dry on these pieces? any info on this would be appreciated.

thanks
joe

Would the same technique used on the A pillars work on the dash?
