I chose to not use the sandwich adapter just for the fact that it is another place to leak, and it puts the filter lower.

did you see the recent pics it doesnt hang but a 1/16th an inch lower then the pan but other then that its not that low really it isnt and if you do it right it wont leak. running 2-3 months on it and no leaks at all.

I didn't say it will leak, nor did I say it hangs too low.

It is another place to leak, and it hangs lower then stock. To me doing the extra work and replacing the stock sending unit, or even t-ing into it is worth not catching my filter on something.

It takes a lot less to tear open an oil filter, compared to the pan.

Is it pretty accurate on oil pressure readings? And how much would this whole set up cost?

as far as i can tell it measures really well and moves when the motor does. its the first oil pressure gauge i have had and im not sure of the normal running pressures of the neon but it does move accurately along with acceleration and all of that and hears the link previously posted in the thread

so recently my pressure gauge has been acting up and i cant tell why i checked the in car wiring and i noticed that the ground from the wiring kit was a little loose didn't reconnect it yet but i think that might be it. and i have checked the ground connection from the sender and its good too the only thing else i can think of is the connections on the sender might not be connected the best but ill have to wait until i get car ramps again to check those. so anyone install this and have a similar problem with the oil pressure. i cant think the sender is clogged

check your connections first obviously, as its the most prevelent cause. however if you used teflon tape to seal the threads, i've seen it get caught over the hole in the sender causing it to malfunction.

ok yea im going to check the connectors on the sender when i get ramps and tomorrow im going to re-crimp the ground in the wiring kit to see if that helps. they sell a replacement sender if it is broken and i might have to get one but im going to check with their tech support first to see what they think.

and im thinking of getting that skid plate i just need to get it off the post
