So, Just to be sure...the socket for the ATX shifter bulb should just pull out from underneath?!? Or do i need to separate the black housing from the white housing to access the shifter bulb?

i have a couple LED strips that i'm wanting to put under the dash, like, right above where the feet go, could i apply this same concept for that? and could i still do cupholder lights as well?

Just squeeze the black bulb socket out with some pliers. It's in there good, so yank hard but be careful

Yeah, no reason why not. The only thing is if you tap into the shifter light light I did they will dim if you dim your interior lights. Perhaps you want that I never dim my lights anyway though.

Thread back from the dead... That setup is too cool. It's a shame that Chrysler didn't offer this as a factory option.

way back from the dead...i just did this mod and it went well. however i found that you can use a hot glue gun to secure the led's it worked extremely well. hope this will help someone someday

been a couple weeks and the glue is still holding...i did use ALOT of glue though.....

Update,
well now the weather is getting cold again and the hot glue held up just fine through one of the hottest summers in a long time and still looks good.
