im thinking about getting 1/4'' or 3mm wheel spacers...but im not sure if it will be a noticabl difference.
does anyone have pics of them on their car?
before and after would be ideal...i've searched but cant find much?

I have 3/8" spacers on the rear of my car. I don't have before shots, but here is my car with the original wheels that may show some difference.
The difference is more noticeable in person. A 1/4" wouldn't be as noticeable however.

3mm spacer, just imagine your wheels 3mm out which is hardly noticeable at all. Have a look at a ruller and you'll see why, it's equal to about an 1/8 inch.

i dont wanna have to use longer studs...he said 1/4'' is safe.

I did use longer studs, but I didn't get them through Mopar. I sourced them through Dorman. I still have the receipt in my file at home. When I get home I'll dig up the number for ya.

Ok, here is the Dorman part # I used for the rear studs..610-427
And here is a link to a very good catalog to look up any stud you could want...

That is the entire catalog. The wheel stud listings start in section 10, 137-142 and go from there. They have an illustrated guide with all of the critical measurements so you can find just the stud you want without paying an arm and a leg for custom stuff

modern says u can go 5mm without longer studs. id say thats probably about right also. anymore and u might get into trouble.

Did not want to start a new thread since my question is on topic.
I am looking to get a set of wheel spacers on my SRT-4. My R/T has spacers with longer studs and it just looks better. I hate the tucked in tire look. Will spacers affect alignment? I googled and there were mixed answers but 70% said :No it doesn't:
Maybe just do the rear?
Any benefits when running a spacer? Or it strictly for tire clearance/ looks?

I don't think you will have a problem with your alignment afterwards. IIRC, mine did not change.
The only reason to run a spacer on a factory wheel is for looks. The rear is more tucked in than the front, so a thicker spacer is needed if you want to make the wheels look even to the outside. If you are happy with the way the front looks, a single spacer will get the back in line with the front. However much you space the front, the rear will take twice that to be even.

Right on, thanks. 3mm really isn't much of a difference in the rear huh? I am running 225 and its nice, but I think a 3mm might add a little bit to it and look good. Not sure if that's enough though.

What wheels are you running? If stock, you may want 3/8" (10mm) in the back for the filled look. You can see how well my snowflakes sat with the 3/8" spacers. SRT wheels would be about the same.

I was also running a 205/60 tire on the snowflakes, so there was some sidewall bulge going on there too.

A lot of my track buddies have broken studs with spacers, so I'm not a fan of running them with stock studs. For a daily driver, 3mm is fine, but 5mm is pushing it, based on what I've seen.

I have 17's with 10mm spacers and it makes the rears look even with the front. I did end up replacing my stock studs for aftermarket so if you get 10 mm you will have to get longer studs.
