krc21 wrote:ok exactly my point. so those stick out a ton!!! and those are equivelent to around 20 offset with the spacers.. so 0 offset would be sticking out a whole 1" more and let me look again at the picture.. yeah those wheels are not sticking out more then the wheels on crystals car. thank you for the pictures.. im pretty comfortable in saying that the sportmaxx wheels on the black srt are not 0 offset.
+1

Eh I just posted what he stated. But yes the sportmax wheel would be out almost another inch, since ~25mm=1". Low offsets look like shit. Even 35mm offsets stick out a bit too much for my likings. But it depends on the spoke pattern if you need a spacer or not with the SRT.
Low offsets look silly. Those wheels looked even WORSE from the back, because the bottom of the door kinda bows inwards towards the bottom. Holy hell...it was horrid.
These are a 35mm offset. We were putting them on my car to see if they would fit an SRT for the manager of the store while I figured out which other wheels I wanted. They are 19s with stretched tires.
Car on the right has a 35mm with a 2mm spacer in the front:
42s sit flush:

this thread is annoying now,for those of you who think that the 02's are not zero offset then prove to me that they make them in offsets other than 0 or 38mm in our bolt pattern.i understand what you are trying to say but the fact is that they do stick out.and if you look at the angle of the fender to the wheel and tire you can see that.anyways it doesnt matter because we cant run 0 offset.all i wanted in the OP was to see neons with lower offset wheels.i like the flush look.and it seems like there are not any so i will check else where.thanks for the info anyways.

They come in 0, 38, 40, and 42. I want a set of 15x7 with a 38 offset.

16x8 = 0 or 38mm only. The wheels on the black SRT are 0s...and that is all. The pictures are decieving.

^Your car looks prime, and those wheels dont hurt any either.

IIRC all of the stock 2gn wheels were +40mm offset.

Hahaha, I just don't want to have to through the trouble of coil-overs on the 98. 15x8 with a 0 offset brings the wheel far enough away right?! Lol.
I'm just gonna run the 15x6 7-spokes I have on my 98.
205/50/15 BFG DR's on the front, 205/50/15 Falken 512's on the back.
Oh yes.

You might be able to swing a 15x8 with stock struts in the same way I might be dating Hillary Duff

We were talking 1gn way less room to work. I think he may have to keep all the tire under the car as well.

Nah F-that, I'll put flares on if I have to. I just don't want to have to switch to 225 tires.

Nah 215s will fit fine. Marks 225 V710s(may as well be 235) almost fit maybe 1/4 out.
