Donut wheel size

Post by racer12306 » Mon Dec 15, 2008 10:45 am

Since I don't have one to measure readily (mine is at my dad's) what is the diameter and width of a space saver wheel?

are they multiple sizes across the 10 years of production?

I was trying to get a size from Chrysler, but they don't service them. We have to get them from a local supplier and they need the size from the old tire

I can give you the size off mine if it helps.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Ah, I got ya. Sorry, I missed that in the original post :beatstick:

I know they are 14" diameter, but I don't know width. I want to say 4" but I could be wrong :-k

And the wheel is the same part # for all Neons, 1st and 2nd gen (except SRT). The SRT uses the same compact spare as the PT cruiser it seems. It doesn't list the diameter of the SRT spare though.

If it is a 15" that would make me happy. What about Shadows or Daytonas maybe a 13"er on them

I just looked at a 92 Dynasty. They use a 15x4 compact spare (and of course 5x100mm bolt pattern). I appears that the older Caravans, and many of the K-car derived cars used them as well.

Does that help? :D

I'll probably post up my ideas in a bit. Few days depending on what happens at work, might have a good bit of time to think of stuff there.
