Another 'will it fit' Topic

Post by sidepipe87 » Tue Mar 03, 2009 1:13 am

So I want to run a 7" wide wheel with a 35 offset and 215/45/17 tire. I want to know If I will have any problems with this. I should be okay offset wise I think, but I'm just wondering If I can run that size tire and be okay. Brodie told me he runs that same size tire on a 7" wide wheel with a 40 offset and he is ok. For reference I am currently on stock suspension, but will be switching to Mopar 2gn lowering springs, and Tokico HPs.

Let me know, as I wanna start preparing to order If its a go!

i never compared the struts, but on my HPs with eibachs i fit 18's with a 40 series, and i have 17's with a 205/50...with no issues at all. 17/7 and 18/7.5

Hmmm.... If I could run a 205/50 that would be awesome, but I'll be happy if the 215/45 will work ok. What offset are your 17s?

Thanks Teej, yeah I used a different one and I know the tire will be taller but I'm just wondering will it work with the 35 offset?

yea you shouldnt have any problems.you are not going low enough to rub your fenders, and the lower offset will give a little more room to work with in the back.it will sit nice and flush
