So I got this local guy with these 16 inch rims running some nice performace tires for a pretty good deal. What do you guys think about them on my car?

Well they are the right lugs are correct offset so I think so. I know that SRT rims on an SXT will rub the struts, but 16's probably will not have any problems. I going to take them for a spin on the car before I finalize the deal just to make sure they are sold. The tires only have about 2k on them and the rims are proline. Not the best rimcompany or anything, but if they look good and stay together who gives a shit? He wants like 300 b/o including the tires so it sounds good

what size are the tires and what is the offset of the wheels.

Offset is 5x100 and 5x114.3. The tires are 225/50R /16. They came off of a Grand Prix. Those work right???

Those tires will certainly not work. They are 24.9" tall. SRT tires are 25.1" tall. Plus these are wider. Unless the offset is goofy you will need new tires.

5x100 and 5x114.3 is the bolt pattern, not the offset.

Fuck! Oh well I knew it was too good to be true. Dammit it was such a good deal for some decent rims with some nice tires

Do these tires fit the car? 205-55/r16

225/50-16 won't fit. Not only are they to tall, they'll hit the tension struts in back, ask me how I know.

225/45-16, 215/45-16, 205/50-16, 195/50-16 all will fit.
205/55-16, I don't know, it will probably fit but it's tall.

Not for the thread jack, but you can't fit a 205/50/16 on neons?

no 205-50-16 is perfect with a lot of clearance... I have that on my car....it is much better than the stock 195 size which is a very expensive tire size..
