In all seriousness, there is such a noticeable difference between ATX and MTX. It's crazy.

well of course i'll be gaining about 20whp by losing that big ole piece of shit aluminum slush box. I dyno'd my car in class and got 109whp and 111wtq. I have an obx header, magnaflow high flow cat, thrush glasspack and srt4 rear section. Thats it so far. Thats right not even a cai cuz they turn into cwi(cold water intake)

that's epic. i don't have a cold air intake either. I've still got a stock airbox. I'm curious as to what power i've got. it sounds like you've actually got some good power for the atx right now.

yeah at first i failed at making a dyno run because i forgot the speed limiter hits at 120mph in third and it was only at 4700rpms. lmao Btw the car sounded amazing in the dyno cell in 2nd going up to 7000rpms and hitting the rev limiter i almost got a woody.

This. My neon actually has a decent amount of power being MTX compared to the ATX one's I've driven.

well the mtx is about a 300 hp gain... so it is a great swap for the money... just the mtx can make u start taking evos, and vettes out...

all kidding aside wayne... i hope u do beat me..... i am not the fastest neon out there, and never will be.... but i can say that i have done the whole car mayself... (excuding paint and some body mods, thanks dave giles of envious customs!)
that means more to me than having the fastest neon on earth
