OK some of you know that i drive a lot... i mean a lot i bought some tires 24,000 ( Texas trip ) and today i noticed some major tire wear take a look at the shitty picture. ( ya my T1I is coming next month tax season )

front tires look great



Noth rear tires ( had to install stock tires



so i'm guessing bad alignment ??? or what do i need to correct this when i buy new tires next month?

umm i have no camber kit

You don't need a camber kit to adjust camber, a camber kit just allows for a wider range of adjustment

either camber or toed out somehow, regardless you need an alignment.

Woah that's how my tires were befor they blewbout on my way home.

Camber is non adjustable from the factory, so without undersized bolts or camber plates, there is probably less than 1-2% adjustment.

thanks guys not going to get the a alignment until 3 weekls or so when i buy the tires.... but damn smog check, yearly car reg next month wtf what a bad way to start the new year next month oww well at least engine trans is runing grea.

call me stupid but didn't you contradict yourself in that statement?

When you lowered your car on dropzone springs did you ever get it aligned? As OB said, the tech will not be able to adjust camber in the rear without smaller bolts, or slotting the holes on the clevis bracket.

The only adjustment is in the play of the suspension components. The space between the clevis bolts and their bores, control arms, etc. There is no actual adjustment, but if you loosened everything then retorqued it all, you would indeed see a change (the 1-2% I was talking about). Make sense?

after installing my coilovers in the rear of my srt4 my alginment was off that I chewed up tires...I got the offset camber bolts and its fine now

Are your rear trailing arm (or are they called control arms? Can't remember...) bushings shot? Mine were and it caused bad tire wear in the rear just like that.
