I need new tires on my car this summer, and I would prefer something with raised white letters. Anybody know of any in my size that would work? 205/55/16's.
I considered dropping to 15's and getting some BFG's, but I'd rather keep the wheels i have if I can.

RWLs are only available in truck tires.

Not true, I can get BFG Radial T/A's in passenger car tires but only in 15 inch sizes or super wide 16's from what I saw yesterday.

Yep, light truck tires and they look like truck tires. I personally don't think they'd look right on a Neon. Have it PS'd

Passenger car tires... they'll work fine, just gotta make sure they'll look good and find a wheel that'll work with them.

Just go all out and get white walls.

I HATE white walls... I've never seen a modern car built yet that has looked good with them.
(Dan's Neon isn't built yet, so his doesn't count)

I couldn't find anything in that size that would give you a RWL or OWL.
Seems that the Radial T/A is only made up to 15" sizes.

That's what I'm seeing too, so it's time to find a 15" rim I like. Gotta be a 5 spoke.

tire paint might be your best bet.
http://www.rangerpaint.com/
They advertise it to paint your entire tire but with painters tape and some skill you should be able to paint the letters.
Or you can get these pens:

I'm going to do that for now to see if I really like the RWL's, but I have heard that stuff dries out really bad and cracks and such... needs to be reapplied like every week or so.
So I'd rather go with a real RWL if I go this route.

yeah I mean its just an idea. Its cheaper to try it and see how it looks rather then buying new tires and not liking it.
