19x8 with 40 offset wheels - be any fitment issues??

I am looking into buying yet another set of wheels for my SRT-4. I found some 19's that I'm really digging, but I'm a little concerned about fitment. Anyone running a 19x8 wheel with 40 offset?

I have K-Sport coilovers if it makes any difference.

I don't think 8" with 40mm offset will even be close to fitting without spacers. Might just make it since u have coilovers though. We'll wait till someone chimes in. Why such huge wheels?

Baller status! It's getting painted SUBLIME (with extra pearl) and I want it looking good for some car shows coming up. Planning on dropping some decent coin on appearance.

My worry is not about having to use spacers...its the tires being shredded by, and destroying, my fenders AGAIN. It had some 18s with 225/40s on it when I bought it, and after I got the coilovers on, all hell broke loose.

Not really wanting my expensive paint job getting messed up.

If you really want to make wheels fit that shouldn't be in there, roll your fenders. Otherwise, you're limited in fitment. You might post this question on SRT forums, since there are surely a lot more people on there who have done this. I can only think of like 5 people on here who have anything larger than 17's.

That's something to consider too. I've got the front bent away from the tires as much as I can without having the splash shields come loose at the top. I'm a little scared of having the rear rolled - cracking the paint or going too far and it looking goofy.

I guess what I'm getting at is per say :quotes: I had the car on stock suspension, and I jacked up one side of it, are my odds good that the rim/tire would clear the metal when they tucked?

....Its hard to find good looking 7.5" wide rims in an 18" or 19"....

I have 19 x 8 on my car with an offset of 38 if i'm correct. I have coilovers and did a little grinding to the front so I could turn the wheel bettter.

I had a body shop cut and roll my front and just cut the lip on the rear.
