Soooooo... finally fed up with my 17's i picked up a set of y spokes from a member here.... all in very good condition, except rashed lip on 2 of em.. so before i go buy some tires and slap em on, i wanted opinions on wether to paint, or not to paint.. flat or gloss black, or leave em as is..
my car is CG colored, i like the look of the silver rim i have atm.... and i cant decide if that color could rock black rims or not, OB has an orange blast neon with the stockers black and it looks very nice... but that color is alot brighter, and contrasts well with the black.
i was also debating on just painting the face and lip black and leaving the inside ring and edges silver..
thoughts?..

Yeah, I think a gloss black would look good on the CG.

i just use the regular dupli color satin/semi gloss. not the wheel paint, holds up just fine, i have only touched up my wheels after getting the tires mounted, and its been over a year,i like it cause its cheap and i cant justify the cost to have these ugly things powder coated

I used Duplicolor Engine Enamel on mine. Holding up good through 1 summer and 1 bad winter.

I used rust-olium industrial grade enamel paint from home depot, holds up really well. PLUS it's made to bond to metal.....I used rust-olium brand automotive gloss enamel clear, looks very nice......
