anyone here know wheel offset or subarus well?

so i THOUGHT i sold my rims and tires. rims are 17X7 tires are 205/50 with a offset of 35

a guy with a 08 subaru impreza outback was going to buy them. rims are same size stock and tires only differ with his being slightly larger in profile at 205/50. his offset though is 55.

Will my rims work on his car or no? Will the 35 mm offset be too much and bring the tire in so that it may effect driving or even rub on the fender or something.

^ but will it work the opposite way. could the tires work on a subaru.

im not taking subaru rims and tires and putting them on my car. sometimes minor differences could change the end result.

i believe the wheels would pushed out slightly past his fender. if your wheels are already off the car, it would be fairly easy for him to remove one of his and try it on for size

id love to except he lives two hours away. looks like we wont be able to make a deal. ugh.

Some simple math will help you out. All you need to know is the offset and width of both wheels. PM me the sizes if you need help.

+35 is too much for most Subarus their highest offsets are +38
