So I picked up a set of 5x120 adapters for super cheap and now im shopping around for some wheels. I've been using the website willtheyfit.com to figure out the dimensions but just wondering what wheel set up gives a flush look, I want a good base off to compare the new wheels too.

Bore size is different between the two. Bmw is 72-75 depending on model, neon is 57. Otherwise the high offset is the same(35-45+). If you can get a hub centric wheel adapter, they "should" fit. As long as they're used with the right tire/spacer/strut/coilover setup

The adapters I have might need to behaved on the hub side, owner sId they fit a Subaru which is 56mm. But there flat on the wheel side. I just need to find a wheel with high enough offset, factoring in the 1 in adapter (subtract 25 from wheel offset?)

You'll need to get the inside shaved to fit the 57.1mm (I think) lip.

approx 17x9 +25 seems to be a pretty good spec to sit flush for these cars. But there are so many options it really depends on what you want and what kind of suspension/body work you're willing to do.

You've narrowed down your choices now with that 25mm adapter.
