Some kind of a vapor leak, but I can't figure it out. Also when i'm driving and putting it in neutral my rpm's hangs in 1600, but when i completely stop on neutral it drops to 800 which is normal :?
Any help would be appreciated

Thanks,
Aleksey

Check your gas cap to make sure it's tight along with the vacum line that runs from the throttle body to the purge solonoid along with all the EVAP lines at around the gas tank. The Vapor Canistor is also located back there so check to make sure the wiring is fine and you may wanna give it a little tap or two but nothing hard.

Vapor Canistor.

After that disconnect the battery and reconnect to see if the code reappears.

Manual says it's a downstream oxygen sensor heateror circuit fault. Not sure how to fix it. Might want ot search the forum for O2 related posts. Seems like I saw one in this section.

I get that code for not having one attached. Its most likely a faulty sensor or wiring.

Man I hate obd II for this reason evap codes suck I had p0441 forever and I never really figured it out, the dealer swapped out the gas caps and some rubber hosses and nothing. My fix was doing my swap I never got the code since. But after thinking about it the only thing different thing that I changed was the evap canister

This has been an intermittent code for me for over 3 years. Sometimes I'll reset it and it will come right back, and sometimes I'll reset it and it won't come back for 6 months. I've swapped the gas cap and it went away for a while, but it could have been coincidental. All hoses look fine. I removed the purge solenoid and tested it on my bench with a 12V supply and it works fine.

The only thing I haven't tried is replacing the NVLD. I have a brand new NVLD to try if it really starts to piss me off.

The funny thing is, I have not had the vacuum line to the purge solenoid hooked up since the crash. (Over a year). I just haven't felt the urge to replace the tube. I have not gotten one complaint from the PCM. It should be screaming insufficient flow! :runaway:

I've just been resetting my computer. Haven't had that code in several months now, knock on wood. It comes on, I reset the computer, and I don't see it again for a while. The next time it comes on, I'll give the NVLD a love tap with my 1" wrench and see what it does.

It went away on its own this morning. Maybe one of the huge ass potholes knocked whatever was sticking in the solenoid loose again. :D

This is what fixed it for me on my '03 when I had it. I had replaced the gas cap and purge solenoid prior and that didn't work. Though I only remember the NVLD costing me around $40 at the local stealership.

I know right. :D The roads have always been bad around here, but this is starting to get ridiculous. They are repaving streets that don't even need it and ignoring the ones that really do need done.

Ever been up OhioPyle?

I went up there two days ago. They tar and chipped the road. They left big piles of chip in the road, I hit a couple around a corner and almost slid of the road.
