Fog light area delete

Trying to get an idea how a certain wheel will look on your car, what it would look like lowered, or maybe you want something that’s completely off the wall. Post your requests here and someone will more than likely help you out.

Fog light area delete

Post by OB » Wed Aug 08, 2007 12:59 am

I've been pondering an idea and I tried to make it work on paint but my skill is definatly not strong in that area, so can someone gimme a hand? I wanna put solid body color delete trays in place of the right and left grille thingys, with fog lights installed in them. If you can try it in carbon as well, that would be great. Here's my ghetto version of it on the pass side, except its black not body color, and the light is a block of yellow, rather than a fog light. haha. Rectangular fogs preferably. thanks!!!

Man youre good. Thank you!

The color match one looks bomb too, I cant decide if its worth seriously looking into though. It actually looks factory if you didnt know any better.

I don't like it IMO. Doesn't look right to me.

^Thats how I felt at first, but its something that takes getting used to. Try looking at it from the outside, like its the first neon you ever saw.

I just need to come up with alternatives for my fog mount plans, and this is the best one as of yet. The grille makes it too hard to do much else.

Hey can some people post up some pics of the 00-02 fog light front ends please? I kinda wonder if I can retro fit one if I cut the left and right grilles out.

I don't know if this will help, or if it's what you are looking for. But here's my 2000's front with fogs.

Thanks guys. So many options, I cant decide which route to go. I want it to be as simple as possible with a large amount of space for error, since body stuff isnt my game. What do you guys think? Should I try to reinstall them the way they were? Should I try to make bezels for them and cut the grilles out? Should I attempt to mold the 00-02 style fogs to work with my front end (more custom bezels, probably)?

Well RT and 02 foglights are hard to get and alot more money. 00-01 non RTs have plastic ones that are cheaper and come aftermarket

I have an extra set of 02 AND RT fogs.... not sure which is on my sister's car right now but um, on both sets the mounting spot is broken off. In case you wanted a set to play with......
