Carlisle Events has started their Black Friday Sale. I listed my club affiliation as "Neon Enthusiasts" since this is what we were told to do last year.

I believe we will have an update for everyone after we are all settled in from the holidays. If you signed up under neon enthusiast, if needed we can have it changed wont be a big deal

I'm getting ready to schedule the annual service on my SRT in anticipation of the drive to Carlisle.

I hope that you (and everyone else!) can make it. I've also been fine-tuning maps on Streets and Trips as well so you can see where my mind is at. Something to help ignore the snow outside.

I won't have time off for a year from my new job, and vacation isn't the best, but it's a job for now. Drive is reduced to 45 miles a week, vs 70 miles a day, and that was the biggest factor in taking this job. It's about time for a new or newer car, so at least it won't have close to 20,000 miles a year just driving to work. Given the cost of even used cars now, it is a huge cost savings.


So it will probably be a while before I can do multiple day events. Carlisle is way too far to drive just to be there for a day. I ain't 20 something anymore...

Neons will probably be far and few by the time I will be able to get back to Carlisle again.

I should have an update for everyone about the events for this year as well as hotel info.. Im pretty sure we will be at the same spot we have had the past 2 years now.. as Ive said before there are about 7 or 8 other hotels in the area if an individual wants a better hotel.. Stay tuned

I hope that we qualify for a tent this year. The thought of roasting in the direct sun all weekend isn't appealing. Plus. we get to show off how many members we have when we are all gathered together under a tent.

I haven't received anything in the mail from Carlisle for many years. I think the last couple times I went, I paid on Thursday evening at the fairgrounds.

As far as I know yes....it will automatically change.. if you want you can verify this by calling carlisle events. They are very courteous..
