You've just gotta' be smarter than the search engine. ;) And BTW, don't use the Quick Search to search for anything... It doesn't work very well. Use the search link at the top of the page.

Agreed its all good, I read a lot of people trying to find answers to there P codes and they dont realize its under the engine topic also, so I figured I might as well post it as a sticky here too. It will also help trying to get rid of all the P code questions here :)

ok so I was swapping lights for my cluster and after I put'em in and fired the motor, I got the engine light. So I did the little routine to get the codes and this is what I had:

U0155 (NO CLUSTER BUS MESSAGE)
U110C (NO FUEL LEVEL BUS MESSAGE)

Then the engine light disappeared and no more problems... am I looking at gremlins??

No gremlins, just other codes in the OBD II system....
Powertrain (P) Codes
Body (B) Codes
Chassis (C) Codes
Network (U) Codes
Not all OBDII vehicles use all of the above....
As for the 2 codes you have......
U0155 Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module
U0110 Lost Communication With Drive Motor Control Module
To me it sounds like your instrument cluster is disconnected or atleast not making a good clean connection at the plug...

It means the IAT sensor voltage spiked and was recorded by the PCM. Could be a sensor issue, a wiring issue, or even a PCM problem. Chances are it's the sensor. I'd swap a new one in since they're pretty cheap and see what happens.

***Please keep these kinds of questions out of this thread in the future. This is more of a reference thread, not really one for discussion. Start a new thread or resurrect a previous one that deals with your specific code/issues.

What steps did you take to resolve the P1193 code related to the air temperature sensor and the simultaneous battery light, and did the issue persist after the lights went off after driving for about 2 miles?

They haven't posted posted for over 10 years. I doubt you'll get a reply.

Most likely the air sensor in the air filter inlet causing the issue.
