I bellive it will but don't wast your time on it get a real short shifter from either mopure or there is one other guy can't think of his name. They are real true short shifters that shorten the length of the trow back and forth as well as side to side. And in my oppinon are worth every penny. I got mine for 75.00

No the 1st Gen Mopar won't fit into the 2gn. Different design.

As for the other comment....The mopar reduces front and back as well as side to side. The mopar is about all anyone ever needs if you know how to drive.

Lots of places sell it....Modernperformance....moparsupercenter....look for a mopar STS for an SRT-4 it works fine with 2gns.

I did not say mopar I said MOPURE I had the mopar SRT STS and didn't like it. Had issues going into reverse and 2nd gear.

The Mopure that I have now is miles above the mopar one.

And he was reffering to just a shaft replacment not a whole assembly.

Make sure the Knob is made for the SRT-4. Otherwise it probably wont fit properly.

It has a notch at the top and the shaft is skinnier than most shafts

I have a generic Sparco knob that secures with three set screws as well and once you crank them tight enough it stays just fine. I had it on my SRT STS andit fit just fine.
