the 2nd last pic, bend the the strut bar ends straighter...thats why your hood is like that. my hood used to be liked that until i bent the strut bar ends straighter. egay strut bars suck and i hate both of mine. nice car though!

Hey, like the shift knob/boot set-up. Where did u find that? And how did u paint your chrome grille pieces? Did you do it urself? Lookin good...u now just need some nice wheels/tires, and get the rear lip. Sweet-ums!

his hood isnt tilted from teh strut bar. his hood is tilted becasue he put spacers in the make it that way.. its JDM y0...

try having a gutted car. the white car made so much noise..... all i had was front seats.

but at the same time, i loved it.

Yeah I yanked the rear half of my exhaust off a few weeks ago. I wanted it louder; that muffler simply did its job too well. The mid pipe now dumps right in front of the rear wheel, which eliminated the hefty bend in the rear section that went over the rear crossmember. Its loud as hell, sounds awesome. its like an srt w/o the whine of the turbo. not to mention it looks much cleaner with no exhaust back there IMO. I might leave it like this.

and yes its very loud in the interior. when i yanked the seats it got loud. then when i stripped the trunk it was 10 times worse. my rear suspension is very noisy, and so is the frame from being braced so tight, cuz every part of my car rattles and moans. having the exhaust open directly under the trunk doesnt help either

oh and 03neonse, the hood has spacers like TNK said. and its not an ebay bar, thanks.

yeah..he did that on purpose...and I doubt his strut bar is from ebay.

OBSXT + ebay = Not happening

BTW: car looks very clean, I like the stripped down look

^i agree. teh stripped down look works really well with this car. all it nteeds now is some 15 inch Rotas.... and im with you OB, the assend looks MUCH cleaner with no exhaust hangin under it....

too bad the local smokies are crackin down on uberloud exhausts around here, i love the sound of mine, but im pushing my luck... dynomax wiht single tip shoudl be on in a couple weeks.....

i absolutely love everything about your car.... EXCEPT i cant get past that hood tilt.... and i think you need some lightweight simple styled 15s.

1 ? tho, did you paint your HVAC bezel? if so, why? the OB looks SOOOOOOO sexy.....

I swer everytime I see your neon I think about getting one; but, then I look outside and see my SS and I couldn't be happier. Love your neon for sure dude and your exhaust is awsome. Sounds great.

That is a JDM Type-R shift boot from an Acura/Honda. Options Auto Salon has them. srt4evah has the same setup.

OB, if you ever want that rubber/retainer stripping to attach it perfectly let me know, I have some left on my shelf bro. (NO gap, NO glue, easily servicable, etc.)

I pulled off my rear section too, and I love the no exhaust look. I was following my girl while she was driving my car and it looked so clean. However, I only pulled off the dodge part, not the NEON SXT

thanks for all the compliments everyone, i appreciate it.

tnk- hvac bezel was fake carbon look before, so i painted it black. it only has one layer of clearcoat on it, ive been meaning to fix it up but havent had time. I like the all black interior look; clean and simple.

oh and quick, i can still hear the stereo, but it has to be up fairly loud (at least 14-16) but at WOT, not happening. I actually opt to listen to the music of the motor instead most of the time.

im gonna get a flip flop hood and just drive with the hood open and have the biggest jdm tilt ever.....lol just thought i would throw that out there
