I bought it, just haven't played it (or anything for that matter) for a while. I really like it compared to the past Hawk games. I held off on it for so long because I really disliked the Hawk games just before it. Overall though I'm glad I bought it.

vegas was scratched, ill have to wait till gamestop gets more in.. i traded my ps2 and gc and got like 135 credit, bought gears cause they didnt have anything else i wanted. even tho most of my local friends say it sucks, im diggin the MP aspect of it (if i could ever finish a match.. stupid quitters and disconnects)

bought my 360 a little over a week ago and i now have

crackdown - used
import tuner challenge - used
test drive unlimited - used
gears of war - used
quake 4 - used
uno
xbox live arcade vol 1 (got it for $15 NEW, came with a 1 month XBL card ;D)
ghost recon advanced warfighter (NEW, came free with my xbox pro)
play and charge kit (bought it with the $20 GC i got with the xbox pro)

plus the few xbox games i actually purchased
halo, halo2, doom3, unreal championship

sadly the purchase put my project car a little behind =p

IMO - Gears > Crackdown/Vegas

I played the demo for both Crackdown and Vegas and they are both good games but didn't impress me enough to buy either.

hey dawm, what's import tuner challenge like? I am curious to try it out but its not a rental title around here.

I just bought crackdown, and I find it really enjoyable, although it got rather repetitive/ boring quickly. Still pretty fun though, its pretty similar to GTA with the look and feel IMO.

ever played toyko xtreme racer for psx/ps2 ? its practically the same thing, rolling races on the highways in tokyo for $ to buy parts to win more races, havent played the online portion but my buddy has been playing it for like 2 weeks so i figured it was half way decent, the gfx arent near the quality of the NFS games but its still fun, just gotta spend money wisely to get a decent tuner to win races with =p

Has anyone tried Command & Conquer 3? I'm looking for an excuse to spend some money. I wanted to pick up vegas a few months ago but ended up buying call of duty 3 or something which I only played like one time. Any good decent games out right now that are worthy of note?

Also, I want to start looking for a decent mid sized HD tv to play 360 with now that my exterior is done on my car. Any suggestions?

I downloaded C&C3, but have't played it yet. :[

If you buy a game. Get Forza Motorsport 2. Coems out at the end of the month. If you somewhat like simulation racing games like Grand Turismo, get it! The SRT-4 and Charger SRT-8 are in it! Plus a billion other cars.
Download the demo.

As for a TV, I have a small 15 LCD hdtv that plays in 720p. Looks really nice and was cheap.

As for getting a TV, I say get one thats cheap and has good quality. Theres forums all over the place on everything, plus user reviews. Just go searchin'.
Watch out for the cheap brand HDTV's that are hard to pronounce.

Little Short of a Billion. lol

Played the Demo and it was ok.. About the same as the original Forza (which I wasn't a fan of.) I hope the Custom ability and other options will make the game somewhat better. The Controls Feel too Arcadey.. And the damage Model.. What a Joke. lol You hit something and then 3 seconds later the damage appears and it looks hokey.

Like I said hopefully the Real Game is better than the Demo. For now I'm Playing Vegas and Test Drive Unlimited.

Decent size HDTV? I would say go with the New Sharp Gaming TV LC32GP1U. Has some nice features for Gaming. Including Vyper Drive and 6 1080P inputs.

The Next one to look at would be any Samsung 32" with Game Mode. Game mode was designed by Microsoft Engineers to give an excellent experience for gaming. I really like Game Mode. Main Reason I own a 42" Samsung. Models to look at: LNT3242, LNT3253, LNS3251

Next I would say look at the New LG 32" (32LC7D) Excellent TV for the Price. Built in QAM tuner makes it even Nicer.

yea dude, I just picked up C&C3 last friday. Pick it up and lets play! If you really like the first one, or tiberium sun...this is a must have. Plays very nice with the controller too ( impressed with the controls for a console).

And as far as TV's go...well i'm on a budget too and wanted a good screen.

I went with Olevia 37" LCD. They seem to have some good reviews and i'm very happy with it so far. Just like everything else, get a extended warranty and cover you rear for 3 years.

lousy picture..kinda looks washed out, but you get the point.

Here's one on new egg. Same as mine i beleive, just without the tuner. Saves you over a couple hundred bucks leaving that out. If you have to get a cablebox anyway, your not gonna miss anything.

I have TXR0 and TXR3 for PS2, and they are fun games, I like zero the best, I just hate the fact that your car slows down after driving for a while for no reason at all.

I ended up picking up a samsung Lnt2342h 23 " that could fit inside my entertainment center. Seems pretty nice enough. Havnt messed around with it to much, have to head to work here soon.

I also picked up c&c 3 and played through a bit of the boot camp real quick. At first I was a bit sceptical of how the controls would handle but as I played through it I actually became pretty impressed. Seems to play easy enough. Once I get a little better Weber we'll defintely have to play a few rounds online
