Needswings exhaust
Does anyone have any feedback for this company? I'm considering getting exhaust from them and just want to know if you guys have had good / bad experiences. I am trying to decide between the v.5 and the v.6. The v5 doesn't have a cat, but the v6 does. The v6 also costs significantly more.

i have it, best money ever spent.
i have some numbers if you care. on my old setup (ptp wg, Needswings v.5, and a psi-fi intake) i made 264/319 @ 19lbs with it closed and 272/331 @ 16lbs open. i have the dyno graph somewhere but its lost in my immense photobucket account.
the reason for the boost drop was that i had the wg routed directly to the turbo and set the boost to 19 with it closed, when the dp was open there was less back pressure and thus made the boost drop. having a boost controller or solenoid control will keep that from happening.
so basically i made 8hp and 12ftlbs more at 3 less lbs of boost just by opening the dp, the gains would be much greater had the boost stayed at 19lbs.

So is it illegal to run the v.5 without a cat?

Do you do emissions testing where you are?

Yeah I'm sure we have the places to do it, but I've never taken my car in for inspection.

Well, I mean, do you need it to keep your car registered? If not, then you can run without a cat.

Yeah it's for both. I'm going to put it on the SXT for now, but then when the swap is complete too...

It's a 3" open downpipe, your car will most likely sound like complete ass and not perform nearly as well, since you're still on your stock manifold. I don't think it will bolt up either. I guess shoot them an e-mail, and ask if the DP will bolt to a stock o2 housing on an srt turbo, and if it does, it might bolt onto your car, but you really don't need it.
