Part Number Request: PT Cruiser alternator and clutch

Post by Silver ACR » Fri Nov 25, 2005 11:37 am

Anybody know which PT alternator/clutch part numbers fit 2G's? I have a PT clutch in my '01 ACR right now but forgot the part number. I'd also like to replace the stock 85amp alternator with a PT unit that'll fit.

2002 PT 2.4 Non-Turbo:
Modular clutch - 4668555AH - $329
2.4/2.0 Dohc Alt - 5033253AA - $260

2001-2005 2.0 SOHC
Alternator - 4794222AD - $364

****EDIT*******UPDATE******
And the answer is yes on the alternator!!! They are Identical...
As for the 2.4 Turbo, thats a different answer I cant give....
The 2.0 SOHC 01-05 alternator is 85amps...
And the 2.4/2.0 DOHC PT alternator is 100amps or 120amp...

Thanks! I remember "Western New York" quite well, having spent a few years nearby in Ithaca at Cornell.

If the alternator's interchangeable, I'll get it.

I was just going to order the PT clutch for my 2000, and i noticed that the O/D of the two clutches are different...obviously this doesnt matter, right? All of the other specs are consistent. Also the alternator...that will still use the same size belt?..Just bolt right in?

I had a different belt on my car due to using an UDP, the alternator bolted right in using that...

Sorry...didn't see this in here before. Yep, that should be all you need, and the #'s are correct
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

AH will superceed AE. Minor difference, but still the same functionality.
