On or Off? (hubcaps)
I ended up repainting my steelies this morning, b/c my suspension was giving me a rough time. I'm kinda hesitant to put the hubcaps back on. What do you guys think?
I'll be tinting the rear lights this week as well. Coilovers are in the works, and new wheels down the road, so no knocking the 4x4 steelies
If I do leave them off, I'll be getting some black lug nuts to put on.

I'm going to say leave them off. My red '00 was rocking the 15" steelies after I destroyed 2 of my 17" Konig Verdicts (painted red...so pretty). The car was de-badged and de-molded, and I got almost as many complements on the look as I did with the other wheels.
In the end, it's what you like. I like steel wheels...takes me back to the old days of my 70's muclecars

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...
Leave em off but with chrome lugnuts.
So many neons so little time.

Well thanks for all the opinions. Looks like we're very mixed about hubcaps here They do look pretty sweet with the new paint, I used a semi-flat black and cleared it. I am putting the hubcaps back on, but only untill I lower it and get my new wheels. I'm definitly sporting the bare steelies during the winter though.
I'm hooked on the black wheels now though. I just don't know if I want a polished lip or not. I'm really leaning towards some 16x7 rota slipstreams. These guys have a pretty good deal on em. Machii
I was thinking about that, but I dunno. hmm.invujerry wrote:Leave em off but with chrome lugnuts.
