Wreath it!!!

Post by Trinity » Wed Dec 10, 2008 2:26 am

I did this last year with my neon....

Image
the bow was kinda small though.

Since the neon is gone, I decided to one up it from last year. this year I got bigger.. and BRIGHTER ribbon, and maybe lights lol
so far this is all I got.

Image
sizing it up

Image
testing it out

Image
tying it up

Image
holding it down

Image
the ribbon for the bow on the hood. One roll is white with pink and orange polkadots. Second roll is bright orange. :)
(which will be made tomorrow by one of my co-workers)

Image
just for the hell of it. I plugged in some lights to the outlet in my car.
i'll probably find some LED battery powered ones online and get those instead. running an extension cord from inside my car.. out the door.. under the hood... its all kinda ghetto despite having a plug/outlet built in.

btw.. I know Its infront of my FMIC. I am QUITE aware. I am also aware that it's winter and cold out. So I am not that concerned with "blocking airflow". At least I picked bigger needles so I could have to sit there picking them out of the FMIC later on lol

I like the lights, I wanted to try to put lights on my car but I don't think it would have worked out well.

Just curious, why is it more popular to put it in the front ratehr than the back of a car?

omg my paint is not getting scratched lol, ribbon was used to attach it wherever wire might of been.

believe me.. the rock chips ive already suffered are far worse and any hairline scratches. Those... can be buffed out.

any wire in the wreath... is not touching the paint. The branches hardly are. I trimmed a lot down even on the back. I get the mixed garland cause its got another 'needle' type that is softer.

only wire used was to attach it to the grill. Ribbon in any other place that might touch the paint.

:withstupid:

You know you are blocking AIRFLOW....

Oh and you are doing so much damage by having a wreath on there....haha

Most people do more damage to their paint when they are washing them...

ronin, I was only teasing her since she made it very clear in her first post that she knew she was blocking it...
