it's not THAT difficult, you just have to be careful not to break the tabs or chip the paint, or gouge the chrome trim haha.

Well, I'm pretty bummed it seems not only are the Nexo P6s unavailable, but now the NX-07s are as well! bummer. I mean, they aren't a quality wheel but they are what I wanted. However, I was surfing around and found something I kinda like. I'm not sure If I'll let you guys in on what they are or make you wait
There's a few motivating factors for going with this place instead. First of all, the have excellent service, they're offering $50 off on wheels til the end of March, and have free shipping to boot! I will tell you that they are a quality brand (I think most will agree anyway) and they are only 14.5 lbs each and they price is $135 each. not terrible. I'd be paying $490 shipped If I do it before the end of March. I might get flamed for them a little bit but I dont care
Soooo the problem is that I have like $20 to my name... haha. no joke. I'm seriously thinking I might ask my mom if I can charge it on her card, and pay her back. I get paid in a week and a half. I'd rather do it now while I can save $50.
I might try to throw something together in photoshop and post it up. Oh yeah, they aren't the gunmetal/polished lip I wanted but screw it. I like this look I think.

Yup, those calipers are yellow And they're not even mine. They were just on the SRT i stole the pics from.
Yeahh, I know I'd get hell for the yellow, but that isn't an option. It's either black with a yellow lip, or gold.... And If I threw gold wheels in the mix I'd really get flamed!
As I said, my main motivations for thinking about these is that my first and second choice were discontinued, these have a $50 rebate, free shipping, and only weigh 14.5 lbs.

It's $50, don't get wheels that don't fit the look of your car at all just because you'll save $50.
Not to be a dick, but those wheels really do look terrible. Just keep saving and looking around and by the time you have the money I'm sure you'll find something that you like better.
Don't forget, there's nothing wrong with used wheels. If they're in good shape, you can save a ton on quality wheels instead of buying cheap wheels that don't look good, just because it's what you can (or think you can) afford.

I take no offense, and I already bought two sets of used wheels from people on here and overpaid. The SRT wheels I bought for $300 were curb rashed to hell with no tires. The Silverstones, were fine, I just decided I didnt want to run those wheels. So unless I come across something great, If I'm gonna waste that much money, I'd rather have something that's brand new and I know the quality ofsuave23 wrote:It's $50, don't get wheels that don't fit the look of your car at all just because you'll save $50.

I agree... but what do you want me to do about it? Sadly they're discontinued and I can't find a similar style anywhere that will fit. Hey, aren't you the one that just said you wanted to paint your wheels black, and put a neon green lip on them?DOSneons wrote: yeah i dont think im feelin them, the others were so much better
$50 is $50. I'd like to save some money. If I find something I like better, I'll go with them instead. I'm just trying to decide If I like this look. Aside from the barely noticeable yellow lip which could easily be changed to another color, I saw them on an Electric Blue SRT and I think they looked pretty damn good

Yeah, I hear ya. I just don't really want to spend a whole lot more than $500 on wheels period. I drive a neon, I'm not putting TE 37s on it. I just wish I could find something decent or similar for a good price. I can't find any Rota Grids, Boosts or Torques in 17x7 with 35-40 offset, I don't like any of the wheels Drag has so I'm not sure what to do really.

This looks hott to me:
Honestly... I don't even mind them. It's so small, barely noticeable. Its everyone else that is hatin. I could always redo them another color if I cared I might go with them just so they can be hated on.DOSneons wrote:do u not like the yellow lip?
cuz u could always take like 15 bux of that 50 ur saving and buy one of the lip stripes like i am doin they really do look and work good

Ya I know. I really like them, but honestly I don't know that I really want them. I just wanted to get an idea of what they'd look like. I knew I'd have to put my flame suit on when I posted though I'm pretty set on gunmetal wheels, so I'll probably keep looking until I find a set that I like and can afford.

^ I agree. I'd actually really like those daylites but with the damn cuda stripes I can't pull it off. It's a mix of classic muscle car nostalgia and "tuner" appeal in the wheels. Doesn't really work.

I honestly like gunmetal better than black wheels. To me, black wheels are too played out and when you look at them, all you can see is the machined lip. I like to see the whole wheel. Black is too dark for my taste.

I hate gloss black with a polished lip. I like the flat black look, but I can't pull it off. What I really want is the Nexo P-6 or even the Nexo PX-7s I posted. They were cheap and were exactly what I wanted. It seems they are no loner available though so theres not much I can do but keep looking for something else I like that is gunmetal, or gunmetal/polished lip
