
The included instructions are very generic so I was curious if anyone has already done this and any advice you can give.

I agree, it might take a little more time but you shouldn't have to remove the needles at all. The ones I had for my 97 Eclipse slid right over the needles and even had a small screw that kept them from impeding the needles.nineball wrote:i haven't done it in a neon but in another car i used to have i installed them. it took some time, thought and a slow hand but it was possible to slide the overlays over the needle and into place. i would suggest going that route, and even a few attempts, before removing the needles. why cause more work if you don't have to?
