That VC hung out at the foot of my bed for the longest time LOL And yes it definitely does, it goes great with the intake too.

Thanks man. Yeah, blue hose definitely needs to go. I need to pick up a vaccuum cap and breather valve. I've been too lazy since the hood is always closed anyway haha

it came with the intake when I bought it and I never bothered changing it. It's going away soon.

Actually Cam, that is not the orange that Jeff sprayed it with. I sandblasted the powder coating off and primed, painted it DupliColor Chrysler Orange, and cleared it with Duplicolor engine enamel clear. The clear didn't lay as flat as I had hoped, but looks good non the less.

Glad you like everything, and the stuff looks very good under the hood!

*cough* buy the painted-to-match custom injector cover! *cough* :)

If I had a credit card I'd either be buying that guys s3 swap or coilovers. I don't want a credit card right now because I don't have a full time job and I don't make enough to feel comfortable having one

Don't be stupid with one and they're good. Use it for your gas or emergencies or something instead of charging the hell out of it for everything. There's nothing to afford unless you're charging stuff you can't afford.

Yeah, I hear that but the point of credit cards is to be able to put you in debt temporarily so you can buy what you can't immediately afford. In fact, you won't get a high credit rating UNLESS you are in debt. That is strange to me. Anyway, off-topic, but I will get one when I get a full time job.

Looks good sir!

I wonder if that is the VC I sold Brodie...? I had one that I smoothed the lettering on and I didn't need it after the 2.4 swap so I sold it to him. :-k

Thanks!

well then it probably is! whoever smoothed the lettering did a good job. It looks great! The paint isn't perfect but it's good enough for a daily driver

Yea, I smoothed the letters and brought it to a fairly smooth surface before my project took a different direction. I didn't do the finish work to get it fully smoothed for paint, Brodie did that when he received it from me...if this is the same VC.

Yes that's the same VC, my body man Jeff at JRA Powdercoating in Bristol RI smoothed that VC out before powdercoating it.

what happened to the powdercoating? It looked bad, or was the wrong color?

I think I still have the pictures of it. The color was perfect, but because of all the prior sanding that had been done to it, the little metal specks came through on it. It wasn't that bad but Brodie has OCD so it irritated him. Powdercoating used parts is always a difficult thing to do.

Lemme see if I have the shots.

*edit* I do....

I've never understood people’s fascination with neon lights. Oh well. At least it's in the trunk and not under the rocker panels. :D

Well yesterday I went to the powder coater to pick up my rear disc swap that I dropped off like a month ago. The quality and the coverage looks great. The calipers are Tiger Red and the backing plate and dust shields are Gloss Black.

I need to buy new brake pads, a new e-brake cable, and some hardware then these will be ready to go back on the car.

I stopped by this abandon building last night that I've been wanting to do a shoot at but until recently the entrance to the lot was chained closed. None of the pictures really came out since it was so dark and my camera is shit, but I thought this one was kinda cool
