well right now I've been using windows 7 RC and its a sweet OS hope the final release has been tweaked up some more. W7 is like umm windows Xp great rock solid os

Through my school RIT we get the new Windows 7 64 bit professional for free. All my roommates including me are running it. its freakin awesome, it even comes with windows media center and ie 64bit. Its very very easy to use, looks better than vista without the headaches.

My laptop came with vista on it. I am no computer nerd. Would it be an easy switch to go to windows 7?

My dad is a nerd so I will just take it to him and have him whipe my computer completely clean and start with 7. That way all the bullshit I have on there is gone lol.

iI've been using Windows 7 RC since it's release and love it. I only have an issue with StarParts and Java but other than that it works perfect on my Acer One 11"

its not that hard just make sure everything is backed up.

Everyone that bought laptops from like july 26 to august something got free upgrade to 7.

I bought mine july 24

3 of my roommates just updated their laptops to 7 and they have no issues. 2 of the lappys were mackbook pros(1yr old) and one was a gateway(2yrs old).

I reinstall windows but this time moved up to 64Bit version. Finally getting to use all my memory full access to 4GB FTW
