I sold my headlights and bought new ones.. But some ppl know someone broke the old ones. So now I have to pay for the old ones blah blah. Ok here r the new ones.
Decided to open them and paint the chrome piece and add better LEDs.
First I stripped it Dow

set to 250 for 10 min
opened them up and sanded the chrome

looks good, i was thinking that if you cut out the shelf below the turn signal it would look so much better. but as is looks better than anyother set i have seen to date :thumbup:

Out of curiosity how's the light output now with the turn signal reflectors painted?

Doesn't affect it at all, mine are painted black and you can see the bulb just fine.

but shouldnt u have left the broken ones on the car till u moved it..case they come back and break them again?

I don't like either way personally but I think that's because I dislike those headlights they look cheap.

its different man.. I hope that if you try to keep it that way you will still have the full adjustments like the OEM.


I also agree that you need to swap the old ones back on until you can move the car out of there...

But I'd say that the new set you are working on looks better than the ones on the car.
