its cool man. i didnt have the heart to sell my sxt anyways, i have way too much time into it. i love this car, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

well my dad wanted to get some straightening done today but im going to get my hood so i wont have any time. also, i measured and my strut towers are a hair bent(thats why i ordered the strut bar now, to make sure it fit while we were working on it. that way if it doesnt we can adjust that while we are straightning)

so i ended up calling the insurance company and heres the rates i got:

02 rt- 100 a month
04sxt-98 a month
03 srt4-102.50 a month!!

i pretty sure you guys know where im going with this .....

For a 16 year old kid, an SRT will be about 3 times that.

That's not a smart way to insure a car IMO. You really want full coverage to cover against theft, vandalism, and any other damages. It comes in handy. And that's awfully cheap even just for liability, these cars are super expensive to insure.

well i called and thats the rate they told me. plus where i live nobody will mess with my car. (it will be in a garage with an alarm every day ) i thought it was cheap too but thats what they told me so idk lol

Are you buying the car outright or getting a loan? If you're getting a loan you NEED full coverage, it's illegal to not have it. At least around here it is.

i understand they cannot give me an exact price. but i really doubt its going to jump from 102 to 350 yano?

btw they said there are multiple reasons its cheap. first because i wont have coverage on my car. second is because its on a family plan and there already getting over 5000 a year from us.

honestly man i almost shit my pants when i called and they told me that!

the reason i dont care about my car being covered is because im going to have a decent amount in it performance wise so even if i do wreck it im not going to want them to total it. plus my dad is a body man, so if i do get into an accident ill make him fix it !!!

You're saying that $100/month is cheap for liability? Or more specifically, for an SRT-4? I was paying $49/month for basic liability [ya, not a smart move...], but now I'm with USAA and paying $79/month for full coverage, $500 deduct., reimbursement, etc.

r title. id rather not fix them but there alot cheeper

theres 2 im looking at right now. the auctions end next week. one is an 05 srt4 with 15k miles and the other is an 03 with 30k miles!

He doesn't have an SRT either.

SRT is much more expensive than an SXT.
