Just read all 17 pages.
Love the doubldin, I have something similar brewing if my car doesn't die. I was able to keep the climate knobs where they are and the cig and rear def. but I haven't fiber glassed it yet (kinda worried its my first fiber glass job).

Very awesome work! I love how everyone re-does their HVAC center so they can house a DVD/Navigation screen higher. If I knew how to do all that fiberglass work, I'd do that myself... seems to complicated for me right now.

just read through everything and saved a few pics to my 2nd gen folder :) Anyway, your carbon fiber... what did you use cause it doesn't look glossy like real CF would BUT it looks better than vinyl sticker stuff.

speed 127 its 3m di-noc.. stuff works great.. stretches over almost anything.. i did a buddies roof , my arm rest, b pillar parts in them. super easy to work with.
now other companies other then 3m are making it in glossy more real like carbon fiber along with brushed alum ,ect

btw sxxxt looks good man

what i love about the di-noc carbon fiber is it matches the srt boot pretty nicely.

like he said its 3m di-noc its not the cheap stuff from autozone.. the reason why i did go with this is because its more then just a sticker.. and it matches the boot and thats a huge thing... im gonna re cover my steering wheel and arm rest nd i think thats all im gonna do.. oh small update my darrell cox racing lca cam in no picture yet.. and waiting on my bushing kit... it was outta stock.... i need my parts for my swap over christmas vacation...

it's not cheap auto zone fake carbon fiber, it's expensive fake carbon fiber. the difference is in the quality of the fakeness and how fake it looks.

and how it applies.. really honestly as much hate there is for this stuff vs the real deal you really have to play with some of this stuff.. its really pretty cool.. and like sxxt said the fact it matches my srt shift boot almost to a T is a big plus for me vs going real c.f Theres a reason it costs more then the autozone stuff.. same thing like with good tint vs autozone shit.

good tint vs cheap tint is one thing, but fake cf s fake cf is another because neither of them are REAL cf. I prefer real carbon fiber and I like the look of it better.

there is a difference.. yeah its fake but when using it wrap things there is no way in hell cheap c.f can look as seemless and smooth as the di-noc like stuff.. it stretches and pulls to shape like no other.

yes real c.f is nice but for ppl who dont wanna deal with the mess, resins. ect its a good alternative that has good results..

they do have glossy "wet" style carbon fiber wrap. not made by 3m though. looks almost as good as the real thing..

LOL i have the real in my car but am going to go buy some of this stuff just to try it out... looks SWEET!!!! and it does match the boot perfect, so much so, that I thought you might have found the boot fabric somewhere and warped it in that
