Here comes the frosty wind, and its still fall. According to the farmers almanac, we are supposed to not get too much snow which is good, but its going to be a bitter cold winter.

Ahhh what I would do to live in a mild climate state.

Mild climate :laughing3: I live in Northwest Florida and we are getting the nighttime freezing temps and the cold wind... Can someone pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease turn on the heater, so we can actually be warm down here in the south.

When I lived in Clearwater in the early 80's, my apartment didn't have heat- I had to use the kitchen stove (and once accidentally filled the place up with gas when the pilot light went out and I was asleep  ). Everyone told me that my blood would eventually "thin out" after living in Florida for awhile (I guess that meant that I wouldn't get cold anymore?).

I was in Houston, Louisiana and Mississippi this week. I couldn't believe how cold it was for the area, still warmer than Baltimore.

Then when I went out to the car at 4:30a on Thursday to go to the airport in Jackson, MS there was frost on the windshield.

My grass is basically dead because of 1 night of temperatures around 32 degrees.

I'll still take the occasional frost than have snow and freezing temperatures every winter.

The Pittsburgh area is supposed to get 3-5" of snow tomorrow. I can hardly wait. I have to decide whether to break out the XC skis, or my mountain bike with studded tires, or my old 3 wheeler. Maybe I'll just do all three! :D

You do realize that there will come a day that you won't be able to accomplish much after less than five hours of sleep, especially coming off a drunk. :friday:

Birthday party on Friday night for my roommate left me with about 3 hours of sleep before going to my second job yesterday. So, of course, I bitched out of last nights activities and went to bed early... for nearly 12 hours. Feeling like shit today, because I slept too much.

I just noticed another BUX goodie- a hood ajar switch! I was checking out the Service Manual for possible answers to my Silverstar bulb applications and noticed this neat addition to vehicle security. Dang it, something else that DCX ripped us off on! :cussing:

Why would you want a hood ajar switch? That's just one more thing to break; not to mention I'd hope you wouldn't forget to close the hood...Gramps....Don't make me get out the walker with tennis ball feet.

I was looking at it from the aspect of it being part of the alarm system. I mean, our alarms will go off if someone messes with our trunks but not if they decide to help themselves to something under our hoods? :tardbang:

Yes, that's the plan. Of course, I didn't intend for the SRT to be my DD when I bought it (I had an '04 SXT) but that's how it has worked out. I'll miss having the little monster on the work drive though- pretty much the best part of my day has been driving the SRT to and from (especially when listening to the BOV  ).

that's not even a BUX thing. Just another piece that was dropped. My 2000 LX had the hood switch.

BUX or not, now I want one for my car. I want all of the BUX goodies and anything else that DCX eliminated on Neons during the 2GN run. It's an obsession! :help:

Ive been feeling shitty for the past month... I lost 20lbs (stopped eating fast food and drinking beer).. My blood pressure finally went down.. My heart has been acting up a bit (i have a heart problem). Ive been lightheaded and feeling dizzy alot. Hands and feet seem to always be cold when my body feels warm.

I think there is really something wrong with me, hopefully it will pass

Did you consult with a physician before changing your diet? That's a lot of weight to lose in a short period of time. I wouldn't wait for your feeling under par to pass- maybe you should see a doctor?
