Dayton OH Meet, April 30th! come or be dumb

alright, I'm gonna call it official on Saturday night just in case someone doesn't check til the weekend, but it definitely looks like the 30th is a winner. I'll do some looking into where we should all meet up, and I'll try to get a list on here of what's near by to eat. And I apologize for my absence the last couple days, I've been out for the count with the flu. Diarreah and vomiting at the same time is never fun...

It looks like neons of all ages are welcome. I will bring my 95, it's a SOHC it will fit in just fine.

so the Meet is April the 30th at night.. define time please.

also edit the first post of the thread to include the time date and address for those who dont live around there. that way people dont have to search trough 3 pages to figure out whats going on.

as of rite now for me its still going to be a last minute thing if i go or not.

Alright, sorry I'm slacking guys. The Flu decided it wasn't done.

Anyway, It's official, April 30th we will meet here on the east side of Dayton. How about people chime in for a meet time? I was thinking 5. I figured we would meet somewhere, then head somewhere to eat, and if anyone wanted we could go to the Regal Cinemas. It's expensive as hell, but pretty much the only theater near by that's not on base (i.e. one we can get to without being shot at...)

I'll get back with a list of restaurants, and depending on which one we decide on will decide where we meet up.

I can meet up any time that afternoon (have the whole day off and I'm not on-call for my part-time job until early Sunday morning). But shouldn't we meet earlier than 5 p.m. for pics (I'm thinking about available daylight)? And I'm curious about the Regal Cinema suggestion (no, I am not going to see the latest F & F movie- maybe Big Momma- Like Father, Like Son with the nose sliding Neon...

).

hahah i think if we meet early it would be nicer for light purposes for pictures. the meeting at the theater would be nice because we could park close and wait for the "cool cars" to show up for the movie that night. hahha

I was thinking more like 2:00 so that I'll have drive time after last-minute detailing that morning.

On the other hand, if it means that more people can attend, I could be there earlier. It's just that I get off work around 12:30-1:00 a.m. Friday night and it would be nice to get some sleep in before rising early for detailing and then the drive to Dayton.

ohhh, finals, i'm sorry! I have mine in June. I am fine with any time. I guess I was thinking of a time suitable for dinner, but if you guys don't care when we eat then 2:00 sounds like a good time. That would probably be a suitable time to meet at the theater if you guys want, as it'll probably be bare that early.

Still working on that restaurant list. I'll get back with you. I am finishing a take home exam that is the longest exam I've ever done... and it's due in the morning.

I've cleared that weekend of everything so i sould be there. I'll talk to Jon, and Vinny and maybe Nate (all 1gn owners) about making the trip from Cincy with me if they even want to go. You should ask around on the .org or 1gn for others in the Indy area.

I have 2 more people to talk to. If it goes well we will have a decent convoy from indy. 3 1gens and 2 2gens, that doesnt include anyone from this forum that is coming from indy that wants to meet up.

We have no idea what time we are leaving but everyone is anxious so it will be early. Let us know if you change your mind.
