Mopar Nationals

So is anyone gonna be heading out that way this year? Its just outside of Columbus, Ohio. The 12- 15 of august. Burnout contests, huge show and swap, racing almost all day all weekend, big cruises at night with allot of drunken people throwing water on the street for burnouts. Good times. Its an 8 hour drive for me and might have one other car riding out with me. The lead car will be a convert sebring lol. Hard to get a hotel with out calling and reserving though!

for the most part, the majority of us went to Carlisle and most of us can not financially goto the Mopar Nats also.....

hhmmm... gay... nats are an 8 hour drive, penn is like 13 for me, im hoping people from the area will be there

Carlisle has been the meet for 2gn for the last 5 years. The Mopar Nats has nowhere near the pull of the carlisle show around here.

I've gone the past 4 or 5 years and will go again. It's more geared towards racing than show. Also, not very many modern mopars at all. Mostly muscle.

yeah ik, but i had a 73 charger, and me and dad had a 72 challenger project, we have moved on to a 66 barracuda formula s 4 speed

Its too damned expensive anymore just to get in and look is like 20 bones. They can suck a fat one for that... I'd rather wait a mile down the road and watch them all enter/exit for free

I'll be there, its my fav Weekend of the year,
Its worth every penny. You can buy the weekend pass and its cheaper, register your car in the show and you get free parking with entry.

well im going for sure, look for the lowest 2g neon at the show thats white and loud and has a reverse skunk look lol. thats me. feel free to flame in person most dont like my car. ha ha. itll be nice to see some people off of the forums out at the shows.

I went back in 00 with my first wife. Saw the infamous Neon beats Viper pass up close and personal lol. All in all, from Maryland its just entirely to expensive to come out after gas, accommodations and accoutrements, and thats not count racing lol.

I'll be there tomorrow. I'll most likely be driving my Cobra, not sure if I'll make it to TomZ's place or not since I plan on going to Heath instead of Brice this year.

I was there. There were a lot of nice cars. Saw several SRT-4s, although most were parked outside the event in the parking "lot" (field). There was one in there however e-blue with cuda stripes iirc that I THOUGHT was at Carlisle. I looked inside and it had a hurst style manual gear selector adapted to work in the console... Apparently he had a PT atx ransmission in it....

Also saw that guys "reverse skunk" white 2gn with chrysler wheels and funny hood. The interior on thing.... omg. filthy to say the least

i should go i live 2 and a half hours from columbus, but i have to take the weekend off to go to carlisle and a weekend off in may to run a marathon so yeah i'll be working during mopar nationals

I can't go this year, but I am planning on doing carlisle and Nats in 2012... I wish one was at the beginning of summer and one at the end, It's going to be hard to explain why I need to go to 2 shows nearly within 1 month of each other, both costing a couple of hundred dollars with hotels and such... She'll get over it I suppose
