Knuckle Nd the other end...these r the only thing stopping me now and I can't seem to find ne answers or pictures. Oh and how much did u snag the 2.4 for?

lol thanks dante  and no i wont be running that much camber. i dint have the lugs on so the wheels was jbust hanging there. i thought it lookde cool though lol

the wheels are 17x9s though so some negative camber will be part of the setup.

sxxt: lol thanks i just changed it. and i paid $1200 it shipped from like wisconsin or some place lol

as for the dcr arms, are you sure yours are dcrs? they look different then mine and the other dcr arms ive seen. if they are there are 2 metal "spacers" about an inch or so thick that go on the back side of the rear arms. one on each end of both arms so a total of 4.

heres a pic of them. in the second pic disregard the stock camber chinger. it doesnt belong there. it should look like the first one.

Image

Image

hope that helps man. not the best pics but its all i got for now lol

yeah no prob man. the spacers are there to take up some of the extra bolt length and also because the dcr arms are thinner than the OEM ones m guessing. did your not come with them? im sure you could just get shorter bolts

thanks guys :D

dante and crystal: i never noticed before either lol thanks for catching that. so would an OEM one or a MSD or Granatelli be a good replacement?

manny: yeah i got the motor for $1200, key, skim, and ecu for another $200 so a total of $1400. still not bad IMO. harnesses im getting form other members on here and im gonna be rocking alot of Mpx and CTI parts lol

brandon: hahahha your more than welcome to come help with mine too!!! ie got a cherry picker and engine stand for real now though

ryan: i used a combination of FINE grade steel wool and scotcbrite pads and lots and lots of WD40 and a lil engine cleaner. also forgot to mention i ran a hone down into the cylinders but now all the way since i didnt take the pistons out.

oh and one more goody i got:

Image

thanks manuel! lol

stay tuned guys!

I also want to know why you recommend a OEM over MSD.

Tsk tsk Dante dear you're slacking

MSD's cause misfires on SRTs and they flat out suck. MSD only ever made good parts for Fords, I've seen more Dodge models in the shop with terrible misfires due to MSD products. Go with an OEM one if you can afford it, they're somewhere around $100, if not pick up a Granatelli.

So yeah....MSD isn't "all that" unless you mean "all that fails miserably". If I wasn't lazy right now I'd grab a couple of threads to show you just how bad they are for the SRTs.

So LSP, are you saying that it causes misfires in SRT's, but it doesn't do that in regular neons?

Coil packs aren't really all that. When in doubt, go OEM regardless of make. Most of us on here aren't truly needing a fancy ass coilpack for whatever power we're making. Esp. on non-SRTs.

I wouldn't recommend one on a regular neon. Some 1gn owners have been having issues with them over on neons.org. The only reason I have one is because it was on my car already.
