ive been working night shifts all weekend so i havent had a chance to touch it but the motor is ready to drop in now. i still have to run the engine bay harness then drop the motor/ trans in and run the eingine harness that should be done tomorrow. plus the radiator and stuff.

im picking up a TB tomorrow as well and still need to find a TIP sensor (no luck AT ALL) then im waiting on my intercooler piping to come in from CTI and my Mpx BFMIC, DSP, and a few other parts. they should be here by thursday/friday and once those are here ill install and hopefully have it running by sunday at the latest

hows your swap coming? n/a or boosted 2.4?

nice... got allot done huh? Ohh by the way i think you should just put the wheels on with out spacers. with the specs your wheels are the wheels are goin to sit about half inch past your fenders if you use those spacers your wheels are going to stick too far out.

one word of advise.. those wheels are going to stick out way too far even without the spacers you plan to put on it. trust me. my 17 x 7 sit like less than half an inch from the fender in the rear and up front when i got my wheels straigt its almost touching but when i get my alignment done i usually get -2 camber to fix that.

well i do plan on running some pretty steep camber. not as much as thr pic i posted, but a decent amount along with a slightly stretched tire and alot more low. im running 17x7 et35 right now and have plenty of room between my fenders and tire. and my fenders arent even rolled all the way yet!

i know what im doing guys, but thanks for the tips. most of you wont agree/like it but i know exactly where im going with it and what i want it to look like.

yeah its going to be sick with the wheels you got. i was actually contemplating getting those.
you are woing to have to camber them in allot tho with those spacers, if you want a flush look just put the wheels on with out spacers and camber them in to sit flush. i would keep the 215/45 you got they will give a really nice strech on a 9 inch wheel and still have good sidewall just my .02

What width tires are you trying to put on them? Just curious.

I hope you're not stretching anything too much....

im thinking of doing the usual 215 on my 17x9s. not a whole "lot" of stretch but i think it just enough. plus the are 45 series so they are taller. i dont mind the stretched look myself but im not gonna go all out at least not on this car

^I agree with him. I have 215/45/17 on 7.5" wheels and they already are sorta stretched. On a 9" wide wheels I'd go 225 for sure.

215's would be a LOT of stretch. Well, by our standards here on 2gn. Not much by the standards over at golfmkv.com. lol

I agree with sidepipe87, go at least 225's.
