You need an iac. Get one from a 2000 and wire it in and bolt it on!

I'm really not too worried about it. don't plan on keeping this harness for long if you know what i mean....INVUJerry wrote:And get a 2000 neon IAC to bolt on!
I'll have updates tomorrow, wrapping up some minor things. Today i got the meagan coilovers installed, made a 3" exhaust to run on the street, and that's about it, rained all day =(

Just some spacers that look better than washers since the bolts aren't the same size as the rod ends I used.dtjackten wrote:what bushings did u have to fab for the tractionbars sean? cant wait for more videos!
i am sick of all the rain, and i am on the other side of the country. lol
Well it rained all day today also but I managed to get my full 3" street exhaust made, wrap up the coilover adjustment, trim the bumper where it was rubbing, remove the rear bumper beam, and start running my fan switch.
In the morning I'll finish my fan switch, roll the rear fenders more, solder in my new injector clips and hopefully make my bushings. Still can't figure out why I have no cluster or turn signals...

^Does the MFS have power coming in? Try applying manual power to the turn sig circuit?

did some work on the cage today. i decided to tie it into the strut towers instead of the trunk pan so that when i decide to back half the car, i don't have to redo them. i will only have to mount the main hoop on a cross bar instead of the floor. this will be stronger as well, as it will be welded to the frame rails versus sheet metal....
still lots more work to do and more weight to drop....
stay tuned...

yes, it's 3" all the way back. I welded in two extra hangers ans pulled it up tight to the heat shield under the car. I ran it under the control arms in the rear to avoid any extra bends.
The only spot that ever drags is the stupid catalitic converter.

went to the track today and got in about 5 runs. didn't exactly do what i was expecting, but lots of room for improvement as this is my first time at a track.
i'll have a tone more from jons' computer tomorrow
P.S.
fastest time was 14.333 at about 93 mph
my 60' times never went below 2.1 so plenty room for improvement there; should have a 13 in her...
