Throttle Bodies

Post by DodgeEvo » Tue May 17, 2011 8:14 am

Hey

I am new to the site and hope this is the right area to post this. I have been working on my 2005 Dodge Neon SXT with a 2.0L SOHC that is a 4 speed automatic when I have the time. I have done my reseach and been looking for a throttle body. I been a customer with modernperformance.com for awhile and they have discounted them, same with some other sites. For some reason, I ever got around to grabbing one. Now I kick myself. If anybody has any ideas, websites, forums, and etc. Please let me know.

Thanks

Not even Chrysler.

Cerberus or DCX discontinued a lot of parts before they left. I am having a tough time getting parts for the 1gn. :(

The problem with '05, is the TB was specific to 2005 model year. No one really made a guaranteed compatible TB for '05's anyways, so don't kick yourself too hard.

Hey Guys,

Sry to bring this post back up about throttle bodies, since were talking about having modern performance bringing there back. I was wondering if a jeep throttle body would fit and what year. I did read alittle on the other forums members wrote. The other thing is would a SRT 4 throttle body work? I am not trying to sound stupid, but its one mod I want to do and have. I don't mind customing, because am used to it with my car. Any ideas, please feel free to comment. Thx.

The SRT-4 throttle body can be "made" to work..... There will be some modification involved.

on the subject of throttle bodies... when i removed the stock one from mine...

I noticed that the bottler plate and the body itself if I recall was made of plastic? It is supposed to be plastic? 2004 Neon SE.
