Part Number Request: Shifter cable

Post by soul_sword34 » Tue Mar 28, 2006 8:31 pm

Need the part numbers for the tranny clips, the two that keep the shift cables to the bracket and the two that keep the cables to the shifter.

Thanks a ton :D How did you get the part numbers? Also if you can get the # of the clutch inspection cover, the part that sits right on top of the tranny where the clutch fork is, that'd be great. If not I can find it some other time.

Are these the clips that attach the cables to the tranny? My cable keeps coming off the tranny. Went to the dealership and they told me that I need new cables. $160.00 plus labor. I'm exploring other options. Currently I have a rubber elbow keeping my cable on. Still keeps coming off though.

you are probably thinking of the shifter cable bushings, those you can get some BOOGERS to fix that. The clip numbers posted above are to hold the actual cable to the mounting bracket....
