Well... I got a call from Fasthemi.com and he said that he was sending an e-mail with info on how to send the black oil dip stick top back so I can get the Blue anodized one. So we will wait on that. Now to wait for UPS to deliver the coolant I ordered. Site shows that the coolant is on the truck out for delivery. :D Now to find a good place to flush the radiator, and then I will have that done. :D

Trying to find a place that will allow you to use your own coolant is :banghead: Hopefully the place where I am getting my exhaust redone will do it. Wife is getting the rear bumper on the neon notched and the exhaust moved up for my birthday. :D

Bump: Now taking donations so I can get coilovers. No more spending on the neon unless needed. Going to save up for the coilovers I want to get. :D

After ordering the last of the dress parts for the engine today. With the rest of the parts I ordered, I also ordered a thermo cap for the radiator. I have now officially closed off any buying of parts for the neon for the time being. Except for the birthday present my wife is giving me. Raising up the exhaust into the bumper. So I can eventually lower it. I will be getting coilovers sometime next year hopefully... Going to be saving money now until I can afford these.... http://performance.importrp.com/ksport/ ... 11980.aspx

Car is currently getting the radiator flushed and getting the Engine Ice coolant put in. With the exhaust being moved up into the bumper... not gonna happen at this point. After I get the coilovers, I will probably try to find an srt-4 rear fascia and get the exhaust redone so I can lower it then.

So do I. I will keep the dual look after I get it lowered. Just get srt tips instead of the huge ones I have now. Went and got the radiator flushed. Or so I thought it was. They ended up mixing the green with the engine ice I bought. It is not supposed to be mixed with any other coolant. So now I am probably going to have to go and do it myself. :banghead: :banghead:

Yeah I know.. Ordered another gallon of engine ice coolant and I am going to try again, this time with my mechanic. Hopefully they will get it right. This was a birthday present from my wife also. I should have gone with my gut instinct and went to my mechanic first. Next time I will!

One of the engine goodies I ordered before I started saving for the coilovers.
Mr Gasket Thermo Cap radiator cap. And yes it is reading above 80, and I haven't even driven the car today. That is how hot it is outside and in my garage.

Decided I didn't like the flashy chrome strut brace, so I am in the process of painting it DWBP also. :D We will see how it looks when it is done.

It isn't that simple though. That is just a new handle. You have to knock out the pin holding the old handle on and install the new one with the supplied pin.

They did give you a new pin with that handle, yes?
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

I ended up deciding to just leave the strut bar off. After I painted it, it ended up hitting the underside of the hood and left marks on the bar. So for now the bar will stay off. I am looking at possibly getting a dc sports front strut bar.

After a week of being patient. Finally called Jeg's to find out what happened to my shipment of Engine Ice. Come to find out, FedEx did who knows what and destroyed my shipment. They didn't even let Jeg's know about it. So anyways.... Jeg's sent out a new shipment... they paid for it. I should have my coolant sometime Friday, and then talk to my mechanic and see about getting the neon flushed the right way. :D
