Wow I love the lineup of parts you have waiting to install. Oil cap looks a bit weird... but I'm sure there's a reason that there's a huge "1" on the cap lol.

What are you doing with your old K&N Intake when the mag manifold goes on?

The huge 1 is from a Mobil 1 sticker I had lol I didnt like the way it looked just plain silver.

Here in Maimi FL tends to flood quick when hurricane season comes, the FIPK intake is for that season and the typhoon is for the others, or I might sell it :)

had the nitrous but blew my transmission, i got trigger happy, it's too tempting, so i left it for just purge

The button to the left is the one that turns on the gauges, and the blue one to the right is the purge button

How much do those FIPK intake kits cost? Do they still make them for the Neons? I've never known where to get a "short ram" intake because I'd love to get rid of my CAI if I could.

I've seen them go for 225 plus shipping on their site. Ebay has one for 160 plus shipping which is really nice

I'm assuming you are directing that question towards me, since unleashed already explained his plans. Just to make it quick, as to not thread-jack, I'm tired of having to worry about water getting sucked into my intake manifold since I have no splash guard on the driving side. If I could get something fabricated to act as a shield, like how that K&N one has, then perhaps I'll keep my CAI. Although I have had my CAI for 3+ years with no issues, but still.

Careful with that nitrous for sure. The diamond plate on the floor might fall out.

Don't you joke about diamond plate, the back pressure is nothing to be taken lightly. I've seen a blown floor diamond plate panel decapitate someone by not letting go of the NOS button.
