I've heard of a contact patch being funny with a 225 on a stock wheel so you'd have to lower the air temps. For daily use if stick with a 205 tire. Only with drag radials would I consider a 225 tire since try get really aired down anyway.

that good stuff there. Even with the 205 or 215 on a 6" wheel we should still be able to get the full contact patch, correct?

Personally I wouldn't do it if you do any hard driving or auto-x. Not enough rim for the tire.

YES!!!! 2000 jetta vr6 wheels...$100 w 3 good tires....and 205/55-16 is a very tight fit but the car rides much better..and looks great too!

thank you...totally happy! found a brand new michelin on craigslist for $20 and had wal mart mount/balance and put on for $5...$125 total for the whole package!!!!
