I got really tired of my old set-up (like in my sig) I've had it like that for over 3 years. It was time for new hids, headlights and new paint on the bumper so I decided to switch the look

so I went another way.

I also added parts to the engine and a current mod I am working on....

I sold them a while ago (8+ months) 1 rim got bent, I tried to get a new one but that model was discontinued, the one they sent was different in color and slightly different design, and a rear 1 messed up because the brake cylinder took a dump and the brake fluid ate up the paint; it all became an eye sore for me so I sold them for $350

Might get blue ones, but not any time soon

Local guy is buying the bumper/lip/fogs, headlights/hids for $280. The RT front was $140 plus $260 shipping from canada

so overall, the bumper came out to $120

I would also like to thank Kevin (ThatKevin) He helped me out like a true champ, another member had the bumper for sale but would not ship, Kev picked it up and shipped it for me. I owe him the swap, It took me over 2 years to finally get one.

I actually prefer the older setup with the 03 bumper+lip and the gold wheels. But still looks good now.

Agreed, everyone is jizzing over/getting the 01-02 r/t bumper and I think it's making the 03+ with lip more attractive. However it does still look good either way. However is that HID's without projectors?

Exactly what I thought when I saw those new pics. Actually I was like holy shit! looks exactly like my car did from the front for 2 months or so. Oh well.

I think there are more people with the 03-05 front with the lip than people with the RT front bumper. I was going to spend $200 on the new paint job for the bumper, and another $150 on new projector lights and all to look the same way. I decided to flip the script and spend that money on a different set up which I LOVE

Here's the thing guys, and those in FL can vouch. Florida neon owners SUCK!! All we have here is SRT4s tryin to race anything that moves 1mph over the speed limit. My old set up got me confiused with an SRT4 a sh*t load of times, even more than now with my SRT wheels. SRT guys at the hang outs approach me askin me what kind of bumper is that lol. Everyone loves it

I feel like you guys are missing the point completely. TO ME (notice, I am not including any members) the RT front is more unique than the 03+ with a lip. The day those lips dropped price from $700+ to $100+ everyone bought a set even myself. I believe as of right now, it’s the most played out look, no matter the color. When I first bought my car in 03 (my car is an 02) the RT front bumper was as rare then as it is now AT LEAST in my state. You can ask ThatKevin or dodgethis and other members, I have been looking for that bumper for over a year maybe longer, even internationally.

To me, the change was well overdue. I am not sure about some of you guys, but after so many years seen my car the same way, you get tired of the same set up. You guys keep mentioning everyone is doing the RT look now, well maybe it’s because everything else is just played out, or maybe the RT look is more prestigious in a way. The bumper from the dealer is almost $500. You can buy the 03+ bumper for $35 with fogs, add the lip and BOOM now you belong to the list above

Now, I do understand the mopar lip is getting hard to get, but that doesn’t change the fact that a shit load of people have bought it already.

I understand posting pictures here you are welcoming compliments and criticism, but I really felt you guys were missing the whole point of the swap; funny thing, some of you still won’t get it.

I was just posting other pictures of the setup similar to what you have now. It doesn't bother me either way, I like both front ends I just don't know which I like better on your car. But in the end...that doesn't matter at all because you like what you have now.

I personally like his old set up with the 03+ w/ lip and gold rims. BUT mainly because I have the 02 RT bumper and it gets boring after a while. and thats why he changed it... got tired of what he had and just wanted something different. Especially since there aren't really that many options for nice front bumpers

2000 w/ mopar lip
2001-02 w/ civic or mopar lip
2001-02 RT
2003+ w/ mopar lip
2003+ SRT

without getting into any custom stuff or kits thats it.

I'd also like to add that I have an RT bumper with Chrysler grille because that's stock on my car, not because I went out of my way to get it.
